Mass Casualty

As a regulated international aviation destination, the Cayman Islands has been holding mass casualty drills for over 20 years. These involve all emergency services (fire, police, emergency medical, coast guard, and ambulance), health services, the Port Authority, the Red Cross, and Civil Aviation.

Since 2001 different scenarios, involving, for example, major transportation incidents, storm conditions and water emergencies, have also been practiced.
