Mr. Stran Bodden is the Chief Officer in the Ministry of Tourism and Trade Development. He began his career in the public service in January 1999 and has since served in various ministries including the Portfolio of Finance and Economics, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of District Administration, Tourism and Transport, and the Ministry of Tourism and Ports.

As Chief Officer, Mr. Bodden serves in an ex gratia capacity on various statutory boards including the Cayman Islands Airports Authority, Cayman Airways Limited, Cayman Islands Turtle Conservation and Education Centre, Port Authority of the Cayman Islands, Public Transport Board, Sister Islands Affordable Housing Development Corporation, Cayman Islands National Attractions Authority and the Tourism Attraction Board.

Mr. Bodden holds a Master of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of South Florida.

He is the proud father of two sons, Jacob and Lucas and he enjoys travelling, reading, and walking.
